The group began playing in early 2000 in southern Illinois using the name Orco. They moved to Los Angeles in July 2001 and began playing venues, which eventually caught the attention of record labels.
Despite their rising popularity, the group announced that they were disbanding in 2005.
Robert Davis later formed a band called Evernut; he and Nathaniel Cox have formed a new band by the name of maryandi. Justin is with a new project called Aujalyn.
